Little Foragers Forest School is a team of qualified forest school leaders, passionate outdoor enthusiasts who want to share our love for nature with the world. We believe that spending time outside is essential for children’s physical and mental health, we want to help people connect with the natural world.

What We do

Forest School Sessions

Little Foragers Forest School allows children to be a part of a variety of outdoor activities and encourages children to learn about the natural environment as well as developing key social and emotional skills. Some of the activities the children will be a part of are:

  • Den building
  • Use and practice of a variety of knots
  • Safe use of Fire lighting and cooking
  • The identification of plants and animals
  • Exploration of the natural world
  • How to look after the natural world
  • Use of sustainable resources within the Forest School
  • Safe use of tools to support learning
  • Different seasons/what happens in each season
  • Developing key social and emotional skills, e.g. spiritual development, health and wellbeing
  • Playing in the outdoors
  • Taking risks in a safe way
  • Building relationships/supporting each other
  • Achieving manageable tasks individually and in a group

Stay & Play Sessions

Stay and play is an opportunity for young children to explore and play in their natural environment. Look for bugs get creative and play in the mud kitchen and enjoy meaningful experiences with life long impacts the benefits of nature.

Birthday Parties

Cub Foragers 1 – 4 Years 

All Children will attend with an accompanying parent/carer. Siblings will be included in the ratio. We shall be responsible for the running of the party of your themed choice, however we ask that all parents/carers are responsible for their own children. Forest rules and expectations will be explained at the beginning of the party.   

Bear Foragers 4 – 10 years 

This is a drop off party in which the children will be dropped off and the only adults present will be little foragers staff plus parents/carers of the birthday child with a maximum of 4 adults. if you wish for a joint party please discuss further when making the booking.

*If your child is celebrating their 4th or 5th birthday and most of the guests are of the same age you may find that many children would prefer to have their parent/carer stay with them, in this case please choose the cub foragers option which includes an accompanying adult for each child.

Up to 15 children (£10 per additional maximum 20).
